The annual Bay Area Aero Club Poker Run will take place in the near future- please check back for details. The Poker Run this year will run from Pearland Regional Airport to Bay City (BYY), then to Texas Gulf Coast Regional (LBX), then to Galveston (GLS), and then back to Pearland (LVJ). This is a fun event, and not a skills event. The object is to go to each airport and collect a card at each until you have a poker hand. Cards are distributed randomly, and cannot be traded. No cheating! The best hand at the end wins! Each airport has fun activites that you must do to get your card. There will be refreshments along the way, and prizes at the end. The whole point is to get in the air, have some fun, and meet new people. The Poker Run is open to members and non-members, pilots and non-pilots. So, grab your friends and family, fill your plane (do your weight and balance!) and come have fun.
